Mustang BBQ

With the summer BBQ season in full swing we thought it would be a smokin’ idea to host a couple of BBQs this summer, and that’s exactly what did. In fact, we just had our first of two “Mustang BBQ Wednesdays.”

If you missed it, don’t fret; we’ll give you the play-by-play and you still have plenty of time to RSVP for our next get-together in August!

At 4 p.m. the Mustang team shut down their computers and got to work prepping the foods! With help from our executive vice president, Randi Harris, (who makes desserts to die for) we sliced up lemons for the water, arranged the salads, and arranged the dessert display. Around 5 p.m. our clients, friends and family started rolling in! We gathered around chairs and tables, sipping on drinks and chatting about everything from work, to food, to weekend plans. There were even a few cornhole games going on. For some of us, it was the first time MEAT-ing many and for others, it was nice to KETCH-up and see a familiar face or two (what’s a BBQ without a few good puns?!).

With Mustang owner Dianne McKay’s sons on grill duty, (thanks Bennett and Jackson), everyone got to chow down on tasty burgers, hotdogs and sides.

Oh, and back to the dessert. What’s a BBQ without an array of delicious treats? Cheesecake, cookies and cake, OH MY! Sadly, there weren’t many leftovers for the Mustang team to indulge in afterward! For those who haven’t tried Randi’s baked goods, you must! They are scrumptious!

The drinks were good, the food was great and the company was even better! We’d like to thank everyone who made the effort to come out and enjoy some good ol’ BBQ. It was blast!
