Mustang was thrilled to design the logo for our 2014 pro bono client, For The Troops. When designing logos, we work with a wide range of instructions—some clients let us make the first visual strike, others have a general feel or colors they want incorporated, and others have a very specific idea in their mind; For The Troops fell into the latter group. Wanting all three words capitalized and the inclusion of both “FTT” and their tagline in the logo, the design team had the challenge of fitting each of those elements into an effective, memorable logo. Mustang designed a patriotic logo that the client loved, and came up with two versions: one with the tagline and one without, so we would have more flexibility with its placement in future marketing pieces.
