Mustang Munchies: Week 27

Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!

Two weeks ago, Scott and Randi kindly gifted each member of the Mustang team a number of gift cards for eateries around Thousand Oaks as a Halloween treat. Ranging from sit-down restaurants to frozen yogurt, the dining options were quite varied. For today’s lunch, we all used our cards for Panera Bread.

Randall and Michael each ordered a half sandwich and tomato soup, which was consumed to the last crumb and drop. Chris also polished off his Panini and salad, and Brett, true to form, was finished with his sandwich before many team members took their first bite!

Ginny saved half of her roast beef and asiago sandwich for dinner. “I got the perfect portion size for both lunch and dinner,” she said.

“I was happy to share my cinnamon bread,” Randall said of his dessert. “Everybody needed to experience how good it was.”

“I always get this meal when I come here,” Chris said. “It’s seasonal, so there’s strawberries in the salad in the summer. The fall version is really good, too.”

Knowing what to expect before tasting their meals, the team gave Panera Bread a 3m rating.
