Mustang Munchies: Week 23

Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!

This week we decided to have our weekly company midday meal close to home (and close to Golden Spoon). The Mustang team visited Snapper Jack’s for a Mexican luncheon.

Sitting around a table outside, the gang enjoyed the fresh air, sun and Latin flavor. One by one, the group fetched their baskets of food from the counter (ending with Keith, as usual).

“I don’t know why I always get my food last when I’m the first to order,” remarks Keith as he digs into his steak and egg omelet. “But that first bite dissolved my irritation.”

Ginny, who unfailingly orders breakfast when it’s available, selected the breakfast burrito. “It was okay,” she said, “but not nearly the best I’ve ever had.”

Randall abstained from Snapper Jack’s fare, trying to save money for his upcoming wedding. “I came for the Golden Spoon anyway,” he said as he delved into his frozen yogurt concoction.

As always, Golden Spoon delighted the pallets of the Mustang team, but Snapper Jack’s was deemed “the definition of acceptable” and given a 3m rating.
