Mustang Munchies: Week 21

Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!

This week, the Mustang team packed themselves like sardines into the tiny Rhineland Deli. The quarters may have been small, but the portion sizes were just right.

Keith’s eyes bulged as he looked upon his “small” turkey, bacon and avocado sub. “This is lunch and dinner right here,” he exclaimed.

Randall got the “Rhineland Special,” and eyed it challengingly. The sandwich was three inches thick. As Randall has never let food get the better of him, all he left on his plate were crumbs.

Ginny thought of home when she first saw the restaurant’s sign. She lived near Rhinelander, Wis. when she resided in Michigan. Her smoked turkey sandwich wasn’t too bad, either.

The sandwiches were simple and straightforward, but that’s exactly what the team needed this week. The deli received a perfectly average 3m rating for plain-Jane satisfaction.
