Mustang Munchies: Week 20

Mustang Munchies Blog Post 6/6/12

Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!

Unfailingly, preparation for every Tuesday Mustang lunch begins at about 11:30 a.m. with a question from Creative Director Chris Barrett.

“Where do you guys want to go to lunch?”

His inquiry is met with a muffled chorus of, “I don’t care.”

However, as soon as an option is suggested, resistance arises out of thin air from the previously apathetic team.

Deciding where to dine usually takes a lot longer, but this week Ginny provided an escape from coming to a consensus: The Oaks Mall.

With an assorted selection for even the most picky of palettes, the food court at The Oaks Mall vanquished the array of cravings brought by the Mustang team.

“Since I started eating out in California, this is the place I keep coming back to,” Ginny raved of her heaping container of Mongolian Barbeque.

“Let’s hope I’m not lactose intolerant,” Keith said after polishing off his Sbarro’s, “because that was one cheesy pizza.”

“It was expensive, but you gotta treat yourself every once in a while,” Michael said of his Hotdog on a Stick. “You can’t beat their lemonaide.”

For faithfully providing multiple cuisines and keeping the Mustang team amicable, The Oaks Mall received a 4m rating.
