SAFER Systems Announces Upgraded Chemical Emergency Managemetn Products

SAFER Systems Introduces SAFER Homeland Responder™ 1.1 and Hazmat Responder™ 1.1, Enhanced Editions of its Mobile Chemical Emergency Management Products

Camarillo, Calif. – SAFER Systems, the global technology leader in chemical emergency management solutions, introduces SAFER Homeland Responder™ 1.1 and Hazmat Responder™ 1.1: recently released upgrades to the company’s premier family of mobile, “anywhere/anytime” chemical emergency management products.

SAFER Homeland and Hazmat Responder 1.1 build on the foundation of advanced features and functionality introduced in the first edition of these products. With over a dozen enhancements, these upgrades make the products even easier to use and better for planning for, responding to and conducting detailed post-event analyses of chemical emergency events. As with the other SAFER Systems’ solutions, SAFER Homeland and Hazmat Responder 1.1 are designed to minimize the impact on human life, property and commerce when an accidental or intentional release of toxic chemicals occurs.

A few of the new and enhanced features included in SAFER Homeland and Hazmat Responder 1.1:
• A more powerful Source Area Locator™ function that makes it simpler to locate the likely source area of a chemical release
• Improved sensor display functionality
• A new, specialized model that addresses combustion events and the dispersion and deposition of toxic substances that may occur

SAFER Homeland Responder (U.S.) and Hazmat Responder (International) were designed for use by local, state, regional, provincial and national public sector agencies and departments involved in emergency planning, management and response, including firefighters and other public first responders, homeland security/civil defense and environmental protection.
