Calabasas, Calif. – Equis Staffing has received their Women-Owned Business certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, a successful end to a six-month certification process.
The Women’s Business Enterprise conducted a formal review of Equis Staffing prior to certifying Equis Staffing as a Women-Owned Business, including a financial review, legal documentation review and site expectation. The certification has set up 2010 to be a strong year for Equis Staffing.
“We are thrilled to receive the certification – it is going to open a lot of doors for us,” says Carrie Nebens, president of Equis Staffing. “We worked hard throughout this past year, and this certification will get us off to a great start in the New Year.”
This certification complements Equis Staffing’s previously attained Women-Owned Business certification by the Central Contractor Registration, the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. Now, Equis Staffing is not only prepared to take on federal contracts, but they are also positioned to work with companies that value working with minority-owned companies and will benefit from working with Equis Staffing.
