Private micro loan program open to IE businesses

While only two Inland Empire businesses have taken advantage of a new micro loan program serviced by Valley Economic Development Center, the president of this Van Nuys-based Small Business Administration lender says the pot of credit could run out by late January.
The good news is, “We’re talking to two other banks about doing this again,” said Roberto Barragan, president of the center.
