West Hills, Calif. – Grossman Burn Center, one of the nation’s leading burn care facilities, will be relocating from Sherman Oaks Hospital to West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in the first quarter of 2010. The joint announcement, pictured here, was made on Monday, August 31, 2009.

The Grossman Burn Center provides comprehensive and innovative treatment for patients with burns – from acute care and reconstruction, to rehabilitation and psychological counseling. Since its inception in 1969, The Grossman Burn Center has treated victims of all ages and all walks of life, from children to fire fighters in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as from across the nation and around the world, offering the best medical attention and treatment for burns.

The Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital will be part of the comprehensive services that West Hills Hospital & Medical Center provides in Cardiac Care, specialty surgeries including Neuro and Spine Surgery, Cancer Care, Women’s and Children’s Care as well as other vital services. West Hills Hospital & Medical Center is just completing a $60 million expansion, projected to open in the spring of 2010 that includes a new Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and outpatient services. It will be the largest state-of-the-art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit in the San Fernando Valley.
