Gwen Buchanan

Born and raised in Ventura County, Gwen joined Mustang as a full-time employee in 2026. After working as an intern at Mustang during her sophomore year, Gwen returned to work right after graduation from Chapman University where she recently earned a B.A. in English Journalism. She feels lucky to have found a job she loves straight out of school, and her favorite part about her role is that it allows her to balance both the creative and data-driven sides of marketing.

In school, Gwen wrote for the Dean of Students, the university’s film school, as well as the student newspaper. She had a minor in law which she didn’t expect to love as much as she did, because it encouraged her to think critically and write persuasively. She played water polo throughout high school and most of college, and still loves to spend her time at the beach or swimming laps in the pool.
