Mustang Marketing is a strategically driven marketing agency. What does that mean?
It means marketing with purpose—developing a campaign with a solid foundation of knowledge, research, communication and goals: we call that strategic plan the RoadMap. It’s the philosophy that drove Scott Harris to found Mustang Marketing back in 1986 with two company mainstays: a strategic focus, and the color purple. (It also drove him to write his very own book on the subject in 2012!)
We set roots in Thousand Oaks and put that philosophy to work, and the result was—and continues to be—a diverse set of clientele that ranges in size, scope and sector. For every direct mail piece we create for a local non-profit organization, we are simultaneously sending out a press release to top international circuits for a global brand, all while designing a brand-new website from the ground up for a top regional business. We’re not specialized—just special.
Our do-it-all nature is part internal drive to succeed, part diversity in capabilities and part masochism. But you can’t say it isn’t working—our 25th anniversary signaled a turning point for Mustang, and we’ve been getting bigger and better every year since. We have new (and old) staff, new (and old) clients, new projects and a brand-new building. And we’re not done yet.
We know work isn’t play, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun.
